Nails Inc. 3 Week Manicure

Firstly, I must apologise for the lack of posts recently... It's been a busy month so far and I've not really had time to blog - my bad!
Although I have been absent in recent weeks my expenditure on beauty products has not been. I have so much to talk to you about but have opted to first tell you about my Nails Inc 3 Week manicure which I had on Saturday.

I am not normally one to be sucked in to Special Offers but Nails inc were offering Half Price manicures on Saturday so I thought why not!?

A manicure would normally set you back £55, but instead I paid £27.50.
Now I realise that even with this "Special Offer" this manicure is still not the cheapest option in the market place, with most people opting for the shallac manicure.
Conscious of the after effects of a 3 week manicure, I promptly asked the technician how this would effect my nails while the product was on - The technician advised me that Nails inc use a specific kind of gel which should result in no damage to my nails. FINGERS CROSSED!

A layer of gel is applied to the nail and sealed under a UV lamp and is available in a number of shades.
Classic shades such as Victoria and Porchester Square are available along with a French manicure and if I am honest this was the hardest decision for me - as someone who paints their nails at least once if not twice a week. In the end I opted for Picadilly Circus, a deep cerise pink - bordering on purple.
However the 3 week manicure can be painted over with any polish and as long as it is removed with a acetone free nail polish remover the gel should be unharmed.

I am pleased with the results so far, but it has only been 3 days.
The manicure is ultra glossy, and it is quite nice knowing that I am not going to suffer for the dreaded chipped nail!

Nails inc also provide an after care kit for the 3 week manicure which sells for £25 and contains the following:

Vitamin E Cuticle Oil Pen

Harley Street ridge filling base coat

Chelsea Bridge 2 in 1 UV protection coat

4 way buffer

Nail glue.

I purchased this kit because a number of the products, well all except the glue can be used with any manicure and individually are worth £40

After the 3 weeks is up, you have the option of reapplying the 3 week manicure (which for any one not obsessed with painting their nails like I am could become very addictive) alternatively nails inc charge £20 for the polish to be soaked off.

I will keep you up to date (after the 3 weeks) on how I get on with this manicure and hopefully I will still be pleased with the results.
